CIFA recognises the importance of education to enlighten the community, open up new opportunities, and the role of education in poverty reduction and cimmunity empowerment.

The girl child is one of the most disadvantaged in accessing education in Northern Kenya and southern Ethiopia. CIFA targets its intiatives in areas which embrace access and quality of education for girls, as well as boys by providing physical facilities that are neccessary for the retention of pupils i.e. schools.

Get your school involved through:

Raising awareness

• incorporate our project details in your lessons
• set-up / arrange a talk at your school - contact us if you need a representative from CIFA

• join our facebook group
• sign-up (and get others to sign-up) for our newsletter

Fundraising

• hold a coffee morning
• run a sponsored event for children
• organise a concert or musical event
• hold a raffle
• setup a stall to raise money at a school fete
